Come so gently, sweetly come, fill me with your nectar sweet. Perfumed splendor lilac flora, come my love to meet.
Come so gently, close to me, surround me with your glory. Sonnet, ballad, write to me, sing sweet melodies of love. Let me know your melody, came from heaven above.
Come so gently, sweet radiance, scented candle blow my way. Perfumed splendor, aromotheraphy, soothe my pain, give me ecstasy.
Come so gently, sweetly come, tickle velvet touch. Peach fuzz soothing, rose petal touch, soothe my skin, I need so much.
Come so gently, sweetly come, taste of pineapple treat. Chocolate savor, delicacy sweet, sweet me with your meat.
Come so gently, sweetly come, wrap me in your arms. Strong and tender, safe and warm, keep me from all harm.
Come so gently, sweetly come, dress my eyes of thee. Ocean blueness, waves of height, lull me through the night.
Come so gently, sweetly come, be my all for me. Come so gently, sweetly come, give me dreams of thee. The McBride Writings (c)2000 Sandra McBride
