The war I fear, Has stolen my dear, As I sit here I cannot sleep, My thoughts of you continue to creep, You are my hero through and through, You do so many things I would not do, I used to hold my All-American boy, But now I only have to hold is my toy, I yearn for your touch and your kiss, There are too many things to list, I even miss your stinky feet, But mostly my early morning greet “Good morning Sunshine,” you always say, And I reply with have a nice day, I truly miss our little spat, Of how you tell me I’m not fat, You are genuinely my best friend, I’ll be with you ‘til the end, I just wish you would call, So I could here your voice at all, Even if it were just for one second of time, It just proves that you are mine, For I will always be, The wifey who sits and waits for thee, I love my Dubby so true, Baby I just wanna be with you.
