Forbidden... what an ominous word. It's always caused me a lot of strife, A childhood word, not used toward grownups, So why has it followed me all of my life?
Why do I want what's always forbidden? Why does that word haunt me so? Why must I always break all the rules? I don't think I really want to know.
I know it's not deliberate, my breaking all the rules. I've always tried to do what's right, nomatter what the game. But once again I hear those words, " Forbidden...Not Allowed" It seems our love's forbidden but I love you all the same.
I tried so hard to make my heart stay away from loving you I never wanted to fall in love with someone here, on-line But you knew all the words my heart had never heard And yet... you are forbidden, you're never to be mine.
So once again I'm breaking all the rules, I'm doing what's forbidden. I think that I shall never know why that word still follows me But I know it doesn't matter, I don't care if it's forbidden All that matters to me is you love me and that's my destiny.
You said the words, you played the songs, You taught me how to love again, you set my spirit free. And even tho our love's forbidden, to others we belong You've given me your heart and that's enough for me.
I've crossed the line, I broke the rules And I'll gladly pay the price for what's to be. We may be forbidden to be with each other But our hearts will be together for all eternity.
I hope you know that whatever may happen, Wherever you go, whatever you do, I'll never regret the time that we've had Forbidden or not, my darling... I'll always love you.
