Busy, busy, busy Always on the go, as quick as the wind blows. So much to do, but barely have the time. Need to plant the flowers and mow the lawn Weed the garden Feed the birds Sit to check the e-mail, that came in the days time. Bills to pay, stocks to check, there’s no time to play Off you go to town, need to get that shopping done Home in time to grab a quick bite, then back into your everyday flight. Up and at it, without looking back Quilting to do, calls to make, with clothes to fold Always on the go, never going slow Your clock chimes, look at the time The gate is open, the stairs are above Spread your wings and fly like a dove Forever in our hearts you will stay It’s so hard to say “Good Bye” to such a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend...
Notes From The Author: You may e-mail me with any comments about my poetry.
This is a tribute to my grandmother who passed away recently. This was also added into the funeral program because it explains her so well. I love you Grandma!
