When I first saw you smile When I first kissed your lips You sent chills through my body With the brush of your fingertips
It felt as if no one Could ever take your place How was I to know That I'd quickly be erased
We were together for so long I had hoped that it'd be years I thought that you knew That this was my greatest fear
Seeing you with her Is truly causing me pain At that moment I vowed I'd never love again
Then HE walked into my life A nice gentleman I might add He turned out to be my true love And the best friend I've ever had
Now you seem real jealous Maybe even sad I guess you didn't know what you got Till what you got became what you had

This is the 1st poem I have ever written and it come from the heart. My friend Jayd and I have been truly hurt in past but now have 2 wonderful guys that make it all worth while.
