The day Heaven sent you to me Was the day you lost your wings. Your friends from up above Sent you down to love just me. Your love for me was so powerful-So strong at just one glance. I saw your lips and held your hands waiting for that day. You held me in your arms and told me it was okay. You laughed the loudest laugh and never thought of dismay. You stood by my side and stopped my cry. You made my dreams truly come true. Here we stand Hand in hand A simple year has passed. But you have been there Showing you care Through every three-hundred and sixty-fifth day. Your love was sent from Heaven-Just for you to love me.
