To water the Yellow Rose is a Blessing indeed.
To what extent is the flower in need?
After the day has fed it light,
Who is beholden of its beauty in the night?
Do I throw caution in the wind
And await the view
That the morning so graciously kisses
With glistening dew?
Or do I capture its petals
With all their bountiful silence
In a star-lit theatre, center-staged...
Can you feel the ambiance?
I'll take my chances and go after on this day.
Let my heart beat ragingly as
I let fate not get away...
For at this tune of time
And the chords will say
That I did grasp the beauty
Of the Yellow Rose at night 'til day.

My work is an integral component when you consider the moments to appreciate another at the times when one would typically be resting or sleeping on their relationship rather than sleeping in their relationship. It is not to say that everyone does not appreciate their significant other or wait 'til that other is sleep to listen to their secrets. This piece merely allows the recipient to ponder the possibility of capturing the beauty and sereneness of someone even when the obvious light is not cast upon them.
