My husband and I were just recently married- last month to be exact! But we truly have a love story.

We met through my best friend. She lived next door to him during college. A year and a half before she introduced us, I had an accident which left me using a wheelchair.

The relationship I was in ended because he didn't think he could handle being with me. I really wasn't looking for anyone else. My friend had a lot of pictures of us on her wall, and Bill noticed them and asked her about me.

He said that I was really beautiful and would she set us up. She is very protective of me and wanted to be open from the beginning with him about my situation. He didn't care- he still wanted to meet me. She told me about him.

I wasn't looking for anything at the time, I guess I was feeling a little insecure, but I agreed to meet him. At first I kept a "wall" built", I didn't want to let him in. But he eventually broke through and we fell in love!

He told me that because of me he could see the world at a slower pace and really enjoy life! Through him I learned how to trust again and how to truly love.

There's really nothing we can't face together now as husband and wife!
