Everything I Do
by Tim
I was in the sixth grade. A new girl had just moved into my neighborhood, but I had yet to meet her. At the same time, in school, there was a new girl. She was the most beautiful person I have ever seen.
I was really shy, and could not build up the courage to talk to her. Back home, My mom gave me a welcome package to bring over to the new neighbors that lived in my neighborhood. When I rang the doorbell, she answered.
I didn't know what to say, I was all choked up and nervous. She just said "Thank you", and that was that. Later that week, we had a school dance. Bryan Adams' song "Everything I do" began to play.
I was too nervous to ask her to dance, but to my surprise, she approached me and asked me to dance. I was overwhelmed. It was one of the greatest moments of my life.
We were together from that point on. She was my first kiss. Then she moved away when we were in the 8th grade. It was tough, we wrote eachother, but kept in touch sperratically.
During my senior year in High school, I received a letter from her. That reunited us. We talked every week. I sent her flowers on her birthday. I asked her to come up for my prom, she said yes (she lives in PA, and I in MA)
When she came up, it was the greatest feeling to be reunited with her again. It was like floating on a cloud. At my prom, I requested Bryan Adams' song "Everything I do", and we danced to it again.
We are still together today, even though we are apart. I love her very much and I can't wait to see her again.
