All You Have To Do Is Dream

I met Mike when I was only 14. He was just another guy that messaged me on ICQ saying hey. I can't really say it was love at first sight, or when we first started talking. What I can say is that day it was the start of something that I never knew could happen to me.
We started talking and saying the friendly “love ya” at the end of our conversations. Then we began to talk about how we had feelings for each other. I remember him asking me if I believed in "Internet relationships." It took me a while to think about it, I never really did, but since I had met him I believed in not exactly just any Internet relationship, but one with me and him I totally believed in.
We started dating about four months after we started talking. It felt so good to have found someone that understood me. One day instead of the everyday “love ya,” he spilled the best three words out of his mouth that I'm sure every person wants to hear from their partner… I love you. It felt so right. I said it back right away. I can't believe how happy he has made me feel. Everyday it seems like it's getting better. Many people doubt cyber love, I know I did. I don't think anyone can really say they don't believe in it until they live it. Mike and I may be far apart, but our hearts are together.
We dream about meeting each other one day, we haven't set an exact day, month or year. Even though we can't be together right now, we can dream about when we can. I think love makes everyone look at everything differently, in a positive way, it brings out the best in us and it let's us live our dream. I could never say this before, but I think one word to describe love is powerful. I just have one more thing to say Internet love is possible, you just have let yourself dream.
